KARACHI: TB drugs procured

KARACHI, March 27: Sindh Health Minister Ahsan Ahmad has said that the health department is striving hard for provision of free and quality treatment to the underprivileged as it had undertaken a number of effective measures.

He was talking to doctors, nurses and paramedical staff of different government hospitals.

The minister congratulated all of them for discharging their duties amicably and making proper arrangements for handling any eventuality on the 9th and 10th Moharram.

He informed them that the department had availed substantial stock of medicines for treatment of TB.

“Besides efforts are on to fulfil the shortage of doctors and other concerned staff on a priority basis at basic health units and hospitals” he added.—PPI
