Official kidnapped

QUETTA, March 24: Armed men kidnapped the Ziarat district education executive officer near Sanjavi on Sunday, levies officials said.

Sources said DEEO Javed was on his way to Sanjavi from Ziarat when armed men wearing masks intercepted his official vehicle and kidnapped him with his vehicle.

The levies have registered a case against unknown persons and launched a search operation in the area.
