21 injured in accident

SUKKUR, March 23: Twenty-one passengers were wounded when a Karachi bound bus overturned near Thari on Friday.

When a passenger bus coming from Kandhkot reached near Thari, one of its tyres burst as a result the drive lost the control of the bus which overturned.

Those injured include Gul Khan, Karim Dad, Mumtaz Ali, Shah Nawaz, Ghulam Hussain, Wahid Bukhsh and Amanullah.

KIDNAPPED: Two persons were kidnapped by a group of bandits from village Qabil Chachar of Ghotki District on Saturday.

The bandits attacked the village, opened indiscriminate firing, kidnapped Shazado and Rabnawaz and crossed the river with them. Later the Ghotki police claimed that the private force of Chachar tribe chased the kidnappers who, after an encounter, fled leaving behind both the hostages.
