Karachi Blues victorious
KARACHI, March 16: Karachi Blues kept their hopes of reaching the final rounds of the National One-day Cricket Championship alive after scoring a convincing 69-run victory over Pool ‘B’ rivals Pak PWD at Lahore Country Club in Muridke Saturday.
Useful contributions from most of batsmen helped the Blues reach 262 for nine after being put into bat.
Bazid Khan, the PWD skipper, lashed 91 off 98 deliveries but side crumbled to 193 all out in 43.5 overs. Bazid’s fine innings contained 11 hits to the fence.
