KARACHI, March 15: The Italian Ambassador Gabriele de Ceglie said Friday that his country was working on a plan to hold a conference on “industrial partnership between Italy and Pakistan” in the city by end of this year.
He was talking to newsmen at a reception organized by the Italian Trade Commissioner on his visit to the city. Italian Trade Commissioner Dr Emilio De Matteis was also present on the occasion.
The Italian envoy said that the proposed conference is aimed at illustrating the Italian economic potential to Pakistani market as well as to promote relationship among banks and financial institutions and creation of joint ventures.
Work for this conference was in the initial stages, he said.—APP
