KARACHI, March 10: PPP Karachi Division has endorsed the decision to take out a protest rally on March 14 against the greater Thal Canal project.

Terming the project an anti-Sindh and a heinous conspiracy against the federation, the party demanded its immediate termination.

In one of the resolutions adopted by the party on Sunday with its president Muzaffar Ali Shujra in the chair, it held the present government responsible for the worst water crisis in the history of Sindh and appealed to the Supreme Court to withdraw the timeframe given to the government and form an interim setup to hold elections in the country.

By another resolution the party condemned the killings of doctors. Yet another resolution condemned the massacre of Muslims in India.
