Aziz discusses relations with Karzai


KABUL, March 5: Pakistan’s additional foreign secretary, Aziz Ahmed Khan on Tuesday called on the chairman of Afghan Interim Administration, Hamid Karzai, in Kabul and conveyed him good wishes from President Pervez Musharraf.

Aziz reiterated Pakistan’s desire to strengthen the close relations with Afghanistan.

Karzai reciprocated the warm sentiments. He recalled his “very successful” visit to Pakistan last month and renewed his invitation to President Pervez Musharraf for an early visit to Afghanistan.—APP
