LAHORE, March 5: A six-event card, comprising ticklish fields, has been chalked out for the mid-week Lahore Gymkhana races Wednesday.
All races will be run over the sprinting distance of five furlongs. The first will begin at 12:30 pm.
The feature event, Chaklala Plate, class VII division IV & V combined race has 14 runners, barring any last-minute withdrawal. Out of them, four come into reckoning. They are: four-year-old Incognito, four-year-old Gissless, Saith Bahadur and another Silver Heart. This will be the sixth and last race of the day.
Incognito and Gissless had won a race, each very impressively in their last outings. That makes their chances brighter.
Well-built colt Paddock Fancy, who registered a facile victory outing over six furlongs last Wednesday, looks good in the supporting event. In this race, 18 have entered. Paddock Fancy is son of Rambo and should be going flat out to make it two in-a-row. Royal Gamble, Salman Love and Gold Hi Gold should fight for the frame.
