Drawback facility

ISLAMABAD, March 4: The government has notified duty drawback facility on export of core spun yarn with lycra.

The Central Board of Revenue issued a notification here on Monday in this connection.

The duty repayment will be admissible on export of core spun yarn with lycra and its raw materials — lycra yarn and spandex yarn.

According to the notification, the duty drawback will be available in respect of the goods exported between the period commencing from September 14, 2001 till December 31, 2001.

The rate of duty drawback was fixed at 9 paisa per gram of lycra yarn used.

The facility will be available only to Din Textile Mills Ltd., Karachi, on the goods mentioned above produced or manufactured by it.
