SSP activist shot dead
SHEIKHUPURA, March 2: An activist of the banned Sipah-i-Sahaba, Hafiz Irshadullah, was shot dead on Saturday by two motorcyclists in Farooqabad, some 14 kilometres from here.
Irshad was on his way to Farooqabad when unidentified motorcycle riders opened fire on him, killing him on the spot. The attackers disappeared immediately after the incident.
Farooqabad Saddar police are going into the matter.
