KSE delists14 cos

KARACHI, March 1: The KSE on Thursday announced delisting of 14 companies with effective from April 30, 2000, as those companies’ have gone into liquidation following the proceedings of the creditors’ or by the order of the State Bank of Pakistan.

According to a KSE notice, the Board of Directors of KSE after due consideration of the facts and circumstances and in the public interest has taken this step, which would be effective from Tuesday, April 30, 2000.

The action has been taken under Section 9(4) of Securities & Exchange Ordinance, 1969 and Listing Regulation No. 32 of the KSE.

The companies delisted are: Bankers Equity Ltd., Indus Bank Ltd., Central Cotton Mills Ltd., Nusrat Textile Mills Ltd., Sadiqabad Textile Mills Ltd., Crown Textile Mills Ltd., Aswan Tentage & Canvas Mills Ltd., Marr Fabrics Ltd., Nilom Nylon Mills Ltd., Karachi Pipe Mills Ltd., Multipole Industries Ltd., Hyderabad Electric Industries Ltd., Sarhad Ghee Mills Ltd., and Punjab Lamps Works Ltd.—APP
