NAs dist councils’budget raised
GILGIT, Feb 22: The district councils’ budget in Northern Areas has been enhanced from Rs60 million to Rs180 million in the current financial year for the execution of development schemes in the five districts, official sources told Dawn on Thursday.
The sources said the increased development fund would be spent on construction of irrigation water channels, water and sanitation, link roads and buildings.—Correspondent
