Trophy for PCC
LAHORE, Feb 20: Punjab College of Commerce, Lahore defeated Islamia College, Civil Lines Lahore by a close margin of 14-12 goals to win the Punjab University Inter-Collegiate handball championship at the university’s Old Campus ground on Wednesday.
The winners led 8-5 at half time.
For the winners, Zahoor Husain (4), Kashif Imran (3), Shahzad Butt (3), Farhan Gillani (2) and Usman (2) were the scorers.
For the losers, Shan (4), Junaid (3), Amjad (3) and Abdur Rehman (2) were the scorers.
Earlier, Islamia College defeated Teaching Departments 8-5 in the first semi-final after leading closely 4-3 at the interval.
