NWFP centenary celebrations

PESHAWAR, Feb 20: A week-long programme, chalked out for the centenary celebrations of the NWFP in Swat District, will start from March.

This was decided in a meeting presided over by Swat DCO Capt Afsar Khan in his office at Saidu Sharif. All EDOs and representatives of trade, bazar and hotel associations attended the meeting.

According to the plan, an exhibition will be held on the grassy ground of Saidu Sharif, Swat, which will comprise circus, magic show, cultural show, sports and cycle race. One day during the week will be reserved for women and children.

A 10-member committee led by Swat ACO was formed to organize and finalize the events. Swat Museum will also be opened for the public during the celebrations.
