KARACHI, Feb 19: The Karachi Zoo will be closed for women from February 23 to 25 because of the presence of an unmanageable crowds during the Eid holidays.
The decision to ban women’s entry in the zoo has been regularly enforced for more than a decade during Eidul Fitr and Eidul Azha days.
Normally, Wednesday is reserved for women at the zoo every week, where only females and boys up to seven years of age are allowed entry.—PPI
