India recall Zaheer

NEW DELHI, Feb 16: India have recalled left-arm fast bowler Zaheer Khan to their squad for the first match of the home two-Test series against Zimbabwe.

Zaheer was one of two changes made by the selectors from the squad for the third Test against England at Bangalore in December.

All-rounder Sanjay Bangar was also included for the first Test in Nagpur, which starts Thursday.

Squad: Saurav Ganguly (captain), Shiv Sundar Das, Deep Dasgupta (wk), Rahul Dravid, Vangipurappu Laxman, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Javagal Srinath, Zaheer Khan, Tinu Yohannan, Sanjay Bangar and Sharandeep Singh.—Reuters
