HYDERABAD: Robbers held

HYDERABAD, Feb 11: GORC police on Monday arrested two armed robbers in Wahdat colony in an attempted house robbery.

Reports said that two armed bandits barged into the house of Muhammad Yousuf Junejo, reported to be the PA to District Coordination Officer (DCO) and held the inmates hostage at gunpoint.

SHO GOR police station Ahmed Qureshi said that as Junejo arrived at the house to drop his children, he found the house locked from inside.

When he peeped inside, he saw the robbers. Police was informed and a team of GOR police rushed to the spot.

The bandits were disarmed. They had deprived the ladies of their gold bangles which were recovered from their possession. Qureshi said that a knife and a revolver were seized from Sajid Solangi and Aleem Soomro. They are residents of Kotri.
