MANSEHRA, Feb 9: The officers of Mansehra judiciary disposed of hundreds of civil and criminal cases during the month of January.

A total of 476 criminal cases and 306 civil cases were disposed of last month.

Tariq Suhail Khan, Senior Civil Judge Mansehra, disposed of 188 criminal cases and 45 civil cases, whereas the courts of other civil judges disposed of 288 criminal and 261 civil cases.

Landlords’ plea: Local landlords, who rented out buildings to the Jihadi outfits for offices, were suffering heavy losses as the government had sealed the buildings and they could not get these vacated from the banned organizations.

The landlords told the newsmen here on Saturday the rent they received for the buildings was the only source of income for them.
