Goggin leads but Tiger lurks behind
PORT ELIZABETH (South Africa): Titch Moore made the most of his local knowledge to card an eight-under-par 62 for a two-shot lead after the opening round of the Nashua Masters on Thursday. The Port Elizabeth professional fired eight birdies in a flawless display over the par-70 Wild Coast CC course to edge ahead of in-from Englishman Justin Rose. Rose, winner of the Dunhill Championship two weeks ago, claimed the early clubhouse lead after firing four birdies between the seventh and 11th holes. In all, Rose made seven birdies and a solitary bogey at the 14th in his round of 64.
