Justice Munir to take oath as acting CJ

LAHORE, Feb 8: Justice Munir A. Sheikh of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, will be administered oath as the acting chief justice of Pakistan at the court’s Lahore Registry on Saturday.

Justice Nazim Husain Siddiqi of the Supreme Court will administer oath to Justice Sheikh.

Chief Justice Sheikh Riaz Ahmad will be the acting president till President Gen Pervez Musharraf is back from his tour of the United States.—Reporter
