Zakat distribution
MIRPURKHAS, Feb 8: About Rs470 million was being distributed from Zakat fund under rehabilitation package in Sindh while Rs18.8 million would be disbursed among the deserving people in Mirpurkhas district.
This was said by Fasihuddin Khan, Sindh secretary, Zakat, Ushr, Auqaf and religious affairs, while addressing a cheque distribution ceremony for the rehabilitation of the deserving people here at the circuit house on Thursday.
He said that it was a revolutionary step to introduce rehabilitation project for extremely poor people.
He advised the people to use the Zakat money for beginning small businesses.
