Quetta Valley in grip of cold

QUETTA, Feb 7: Quetta valley and the northern parts of Balochistan are in the grip of severe cold as gusty winds blew for the second day on Thursday.

Mercury fell four degree Celsius during the day with minimum temperature remained -4 degree Celsius. The city wore deserted look as people preferred to remain indoor glued to gas heaters.

The roads and streets seemed empty as traffic remained thin. In several areas of the city, complaints about non-supply of water was also noticed due to water freezing in pipes and pipe bursting.—APP
