LARKANA: Manzoor Panhwar joins PPP

LARKANA, Feb 7: The Pakistan People’s Party would not leave ground open for small conglomerates and groups in the ensuing elections.

This was said by the chief of PPP, Sindh, Nisar Khuhro, while speaking on Monday in a public meeting in Jacobabad where Sardar Manzoor Khan Panhwar announced to join the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Aftab Shahban Mirani questioned the authority of President Gen Parvez Musharraf for making amendments to the constitution.

Qaim Ali Shah termed present situation on domestic as well as foreign front critical.

Khursheed Shah said that despite all barriers, Benazir Bhutto would return home and the PPP would once again prove its popularity in election.

ARRESTED: In a drive against outlaws and their harbourers, Larkana police have netted in 15 men for allegedly providing shelter to criminals in the district.

The police seized one Kalashnikov, three TT pistols, three shotguns and one rifle.
