Last two rounds rescheduled

By Our Sports Reporter

KARACHI, Feb 4: The Pakistan Cricket Board Monday decided to advance the schedule of the final two rounds of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Grade-I Championship by one day.

The eighth round will now start from Feb 12 instead of 11th and the last round from 18th (previously scheduled from 19th).

This decision was taken to allow the players and officials to return to their homes in time for Eid-ul-Azha, which is expected to fall on Feb 23.

The five-day final of the premier and the oldest domestic first-class competition, however, will be played from March 1 as originally scheduled.
