KARACHI, Feb 4: The Board of Secondary Education, Karachi, on Monday announced the results of SSC supplementary (science and general groups) examinations, with an overall pass percentage of 63.11.
According to BSE notification, in all 38,498 regular and private candidates appeared in science and general groups supplementary examination-2001, out of which 24,299 passed the examinations. A maximum pass percentage of 64.23 was recoded in the science group examination.
The pass percentage in the general group (regular) remained as 61.35, while in the case of general group (private) the percentage was 59.29. A female candidate belonging to the science group was placed in A-1 grade, while none of the candidates in the general groups could get A-1 grade.
In all, 17609 male and 7578 female candidates appeared in science group, while a total of 5208 males and 8103 females appeared in general groups examinations. Results of 16 candidates were withheld on account of unfair means, which would be declared after any decision at some later stage, added the BSE notification.
