JHANG, Feb 2: The Social Welfare Society, Rodu Sultan, has urged the Eduction Department officials not to make the higher secondary school project controversial.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, society’s president Ghulam Ali Kalyar said the school was located at least six kilometres away from the previously existing school.
The school, he said, was sanctioned in 1996 by the chief minister on the recommendation of the governor. There are half a dozen primary and three middle schools close by.
