KARACHI, Feb 1: Chairman Council of Islamic Ideology Dr S.M. Zaman has said madressahs, seeking affiliation with the Federal Madressah Board (FMB), will be granted the same without any delay.

“All madressahs, after getting affiliation with the FMB, will be provided a revised curriculum. These institutions will be bound to impart education in accordance with the new syllabus,” he said, while speaking at a teachers- students meeting of the Islamic Mission University for Women here on Friday.

He said all announcements regarding examinations and results of the madressahs would also be made by the FMB.

Expressing disappointment over the role of the successive governments in improving the education standard of the madressahs, he said during the last 54 years no government had paid attention in this regard.—PPI
