Two die in road accident
BAJAUR, Jan 31: Two persons were killed and 12 others received injuries when a pick-up vehicle of a marriage procession plunged into a roadside ravine here on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Ayaz Khan and Noor Muhammad. The bridegroom, Said Ahmad, also received serious injuries and was under treatment in a local hospital.
The accident occurred in a far-flung area Kas Korona, situated in Mamond sub-division of Bajaur Agency.
The vehicles in the procession were reportedly overspeeding due to which the driver of the pick-up lost control on the wheel, with the result it overturned.
