PO killed in ‘encounter’
PESHAWAR, Jan 28: Police killed a proclaimed offender in an “encounter” near Gul Shen Abad Colony on Monday.
The SSP (operational), Dr Ishtiaq Marwat, told journalists that the outlaw, identified as Rustam, was wanted to the police for his alleged involvement in many cases, including the killing of two constables.
He claimed that the outlaws opened fire when the police party reached the venue.
