KARACHI, Jan 23: An amount of Rs2,800 million has been earmarked for Khushhal Pakistan Programme (KPP) under Phase-III during the current financial year 2001-2002, says a handout issued here on Wednesday.

According to details, a sum of Rs1312.612 million has been released by the federal government for 16 districts in the province and Karachi only would get Rs 360.059 million.

An amount of Rs104.306 million will be spent in District Hyderabad, besides, an amount of Rs75.835 million has been earmarked for Badin, Rs75.615 million for Thatta, Rs95.110 million for Dadu, Rs69.940 million for Larkana, Rs86.628 million for Jacobabad, Rs31.832 million for Shikarpur, Rs32.273 million for Sukkur, Rs34.916 million for Ghotki, Rs55.623 million for Khairpur, Rs38.441 million for Nawabshah, Rs39.103 million for Naushero Feroze, Rs57.165 million for Mirpurkhas, Rs87.291 million for Sanghar, Rs68.475 million for Tharparkar.—APP
