HYDERABAD, Jan 21: The Zila Nazim, Hyderabad, Dr Makhdoom Rafiquz Zaman, has said that efforts will be made to upgrade the Government College of Technology, Hyderabad, into a university of technology.

While inaugurating the computer department in the college, he said the present era was the era of competition and it was impossible to compete in the development race without raising the standard of education.

He said the teachers and the students to play their expected role in improving the standard of education.
