Ten injured as bus falls into ditch

KHAIRPUR, Jan 20: Ten passengers were injured when a bus headed for Setharja fell into a ditch the other day.

The bus (P-0300) was coming from Hingorja. When its driver tried to overtake a tractor, he lost control over the steering wheel as a result of which it overturned and fell into a ditch. Ten people were injured in the accident.

SUICIDE: A youth, identified as Abdul Ghaffar Mallah, committed suicide by electrocuting himself in Bilawal Mallah village, near Setharja, Thari Mirwah Taluka, on Saturday night.

He was said to have committed suicide over some domestic problems.

Another youth, identified as Maqsood Memon, attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself at his house in the Memon Mohalla, Gambat, on Saturday night.

He has been admitted to the taluka hospital. It is said that he tried to commit suicide because of unemployment.
