Two POs arrested

GUJRAT, Jan 19: The district police on Saturday claim to have arrested two proclaimed offenders involved in a number of murder, dacoity and robbery incidents in various parts of the division.

A police spokesman said Mungowal police led by ASI Nawaz Ranjah had raided the hideout and arrested PO Nisar Ahmad alias Saro Malangi. He had shot dead five persons in Mansoorwali, Gujranwala, and a Nazim, Nasrullah in Randheer, Sialkot, he said. He was also involved in several incidents of robbery.

PO Tanseer Hussain Shah involved in various dacoity incidents at Motra, Sialkot, was arrested from Tapiala by Dinga police, he added.

According to the prosecution, Amjad and Amin had shot dead a man in Moharra Qasim.
