LOUDSPEAKER MISUSE: The Gojra city and Toba city police registered on Saturday cases against two ulema on the charge of misuse of loudspeakers under section 3 of amplifier act.

Both Maulana Sardar Ali of Markazi Jamia Masjid Chak 296-JB, Gojra, and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI) leader and prayer leader of Jamia Masjid, Mustafabad, Toba Tek Singh, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor, had delivered speeches on loudspeaker despite the ban on its use. They had yet not been arrested.
