KARACHI, Jan 13: Zeshan Ali won the Sindh amateur golf crown when he fired a third and final round of five-over 77 for a tournament score of 221 at the DHA golf course Sunday.
Dr Aimal Zaman finished second three strokes behind Zeshan while Ghazanfar Memood ended up third a further two strokes adrift.
The Net trophy was bagged by Kamran Wahab Khan, who shot a net score of 68 to finish with a score of 209. Jawad Amjad was second with 211 and Jahil Anwar third with 216.
The Seniors title was picked up by Haroon Khalon followed by Lt. Col. (retd) M.Z.K. Burki. Ashraf Khan Ghori had to be content with the Net trophy as Tahir Karamat finished second.
Local boy Omair Javed won the Sindh Junior championship, with I.A. Khan finishing in the runner-up slot. Hamza Arif picked up the net trophy with Amin Ahmed as runner-up.
In the under-15 group Hasan Arshad Nabi finished ahead of Imamullah, while the Net trophy was picked up by Zaman Khan, closely followed by Hamza Arif.
The Sindh veteran title went to Kemal Shoaib with a gross score of 85. Lt. Col. (retd). Riaz-ur-Rehman finished off as runner-up. Saeed Ahmed finished ahead of Group capt. (retd). Shoukat Ali Khan in the Net category. There was a three way tie for the championship at 85, which was decided on the basis on the back nine score.
Mrs. Hae Jin Lee playing excellent golf, won the Ladies title from Saba Iqbal. The net trophy saw Mrs. Sherin Khan finish ahead of Mrs. Dae Nam
