NAWABSHAH, Jan 12: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to suspend its flights to and from Nawabshah and close down its regional office here, reliable sources told Dawn on Saturday.

The decision had been taken in view of the minimum load on the flights as the air fare was very high for the journey between Nawabshah to Karachi, sources added.

PIA office at Nawabshah provides important flight information, confirmation, reservation and other facilities to domestic and international passengers residing in Nawabshah, Sanghar, Naushahro Feroze and part of Dadu district.

The people of Nawabshah have demanded of PIA to review the decision.
