By Our Correspondent

TANK, Jan 12: The Municipal Committee of Tank has still not paid their pension/gratuity to 18 retired class IV employees, who are waiting for the past three years.

This was stated in a joint statement released by these retired employees here on Saturday.

They include sweepers, water careers and baildars.

They claimed that two employees, a chief officer and an accountant of the said committee were also retired but were paid pension and all other benefits immediately whereas the low paid servants were still awaiting of their dues.

Meanwhile talking to Dawn a spokesman of these retired servants maintained that they had repeatedly drawn attention of the authorities about the situation but of no avail and no one had come forward to redress their problem.
