FAISALABAD, Jan 11: The federal government has asked the law enforcement agencies to arrest all those Indians who are still in Pakistan despite expiry of their visas.
Following the instructions, various agencies, especially the Federal Investigation Agency have started collecting information about Indian nationals.
An FIA source said on Friday ministry of interior had received reports about the entry of RAW agents on fake passports in Pakistan during last four months.
Sources said action would also be taken against the Pakistani sponsors of all illegal settlers in case they could not be traced.
It was noticed that a majority of the Indian nationals slipped from Lahore and Karachi and settled in other parts of the country, they added.
Meanwhile, teams have been constituted to search the Indian nationals. Special cell has also been established in the federal interior division to monitor progress.
Lists were also being prepared by the jail staff of those Indians who had already been in jails.
DEATH SENTENCE: The local Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) special Judge, Chaudhry Muhammad Ikram, has awarded death sentence on two counts, 13-year rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs160,000 to a man in dacoity-cum-murder.
Muhammad Ali has been directed to pay Rs100,000 to the legal heirs of Muhammad Khan. In case of default, he would have to undergo hard jail for another 13 years.
Meanwhile, the judge acquitted two accused Manzoor and Ijaz, giving them the benefit of the doubt.
According to the prosecution, the convict tried to escape with Khan’s she-goat from his haveli and shot him dead on resistance on March 31, 1999.
