KARACHI, Jan 10: In a bid to improve the performance of industrial units and to revive the investors’ confidence, the city government and the four industrial areas of Karachi have agreed to set up offices in each of the industrial areas to facilitate its members in matters pertaining to utility services and billing.

In a meeting held recently between the city government and members of the association of industrial areas of Landhi, Korangi, F.B. Area, and North Karachi, it was decided that the associations would provide furnished offices to the city government in their respective industrial areas.

The city government was represented by Nazim Naimatullah Khan, Naib Nazim Tariq Hasan, DCO Shafiqur Rehman Paracha and EDO Enterprise and Investment Promotion, Shah Mehmood Hussain Syed.

These offices will provide one-window operation facility for the industrialists, who are at present faced with numerous difficulties.—PPI
