LAHORE, Jan 5: Parties in the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy are still to take a decision on the fate of the alliance, which hangs in the balance following Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan’s resignation as coalition chief in protest against the PPP attitude.
So far, the PPP has not established any contact with the senior leader to request him to take back the decision. Though some other parties have urged the Nawabzada to stay on at the helm, he is not willing to do so.
PML(N) Vice-President Tehmina Daultana is scheduled to meet the Nawabzada on Sunday to discuss the future course of action.—Staff Reporter
