KARACHI, Jan 5: Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro has promulgated the Sindh Local Government (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2001 by amending the Sindh Local Government Ordinance, 2001 which shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on and from August 14, 2001.
According to the amendment in the Sindh Local Government Ordinance, 2001, hereinafter referred to as the said Ordinance, in section 28, in sub-section (2), in clause (c), for the words “City District” the words “City District Government,” shall be substituted.
In the said Ordinance, in section 112, in sub-section (2), for the words “ten weeks” the words” as soon as possible but not later than the date fixed by Government” shall be substituted.
In the said Ordinance, in the First Schedule, in part-A, in clause (viii), after the world “Forest” the words “excluding watershed management and natural forests, guzara forests or protected forests” shall be added.
In the said Ordinance, in the Fifth Schedule, in Part-1 (Rules), clause 2 shall be omitted.- APP
