HYDERABAD, Jan 4: Youths under the banner of the Pakistan Youth Organization held a peace march on Friday.
The protesters started marching from the Bacha Khan Chowk and after marching through the main city roads they stopped in front of the Hyderabad Press Club.
Addressing the rally, Fayyaz Awan, the president of the organization, condemned the belligerent attitude of India.
He said that Pakistan and the entire world was crying hoarse for peace but the Indian rulers were bent upon destroying the peace of the region.
He said that the Indian rulers had created war hysteria just to achieve their political ends within the country.
SHABAB-I-MILLI: Activists of the Shabab-i-Milli held a ‘Pakistan Solidarity Demonstration’ outside the Hyderabad Press Club on Friday.
They carried banners inscribed with slogans such as “Down with aggression” and “Stop state terrorism in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir”.
Addressing the rally, Shakir Khan Sawati and Abdul Qayoom said that India had amassed forces on the borders and was preparing for an attack on Pakistan.
They said that the government of Pakistan had imprisoned Qazi Hussain Ahmed, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other leaders “to physically prevent them from leading Jihad against India”.
DEFENCE RALLY: Over one hundred people including children here on Friday took out Pakistan defence rally from Hussainabad which after marching on Thandi Sarak, Fatima Jinnah Road, Haider Chowk and Risala Road, terminated at the Hyderabad press club.
Talking to the participants of rally, the Nazim of union council-1 Latifabad, Sher Mohammad Pirzada, and Naib Nazim, Abbas Khan said if India attacked Pakistan, every citizen of the country would fight against the aggressor with the valiant armed forces.
