Legislators briefed on situation along LoC

MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 2: Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan on Wednesday asked his ministers and parliamentarians of the Muslim Conference to visit areas along the Line of Control (LoC) and prepare people to fight possible aggression by India.

At a meeting of the party at the Prime Minister House, Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan also briefed the legislators on the situation along the (LoC), and on political and administrative fronts.

He said that the people and the government of Azad Kashmir would offer every sacrifice to protect the status, integrity, freedom and security of Azad Kashmir.

The minister for health, food and local bodies briefed the parliamentary party on measures being taken to face the mounting tension along the LoC.

The minister for works also informed the meeting about the arrangements made to handle any untoward situation.
