By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Dec 31: Additional district and sessions judge, West, Naseem Mansoor, acquitted on Monday three workers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in a murder case.

The judge exonerated Qiyam Uddin, Muhammed Yamin and Raju alias Muhammed Yamin from the murder charge as the prosecution could not bring incriminating evidence against them.

The three were prosecuted for killing Muhammed Saleem Shaikh on July 19, 1998 in Orangi Town.

REMANDED TO CUSTODY: The judicial magistrate, East, remanded two men to the FIA Passport Circle for dealing in fake currency.

Muhammed Suleman and Muhammed Ashraf were arrested by the FIA near Nursery as they got off a passenger bus. The raiding party allegedly recovered 183 fake notes of Rs10 denomination from them.
