Salim elected as KSE chief

Karachi, Dec 26: Salim Chamdia was elected chairman of the Karachi Stock Exchange in annual elections held on Wednesday at KSE building.

Those elected as directors for the year 2002, include Abdul Majeed Adam, Abid Ali Habib, Zafar S Moti, Dawood Jan Mohammad, Arif H Yousuf Saya, Haroon Iqbal, Munaf Usman Mehenti and Munir M Ladha.

Salim Chamdia is the youngest chairman elected so far and had been vice-chairman of the exchange for the year 1999 and 2000. He has vast experience in equity markets.—PPI
