TNSM team to visit Kabul

By Our Correspondent

MINGORA, Dec 21: An 18-member delegation of the Tanzim-i-Nefaz Shariah Muhammadi, Malakand division, is likely to visit Kabul soon to hold talks with the interim government of Afghanistan for the release of the TNSM activists.

Talking to Dawn on Friday, TNSM spokesman Mohammad Abdullah said that the decision to send a delegation to Afghanistan to negotiate the release of the detained volunteers was taken at a meeting of the Tanzim’s Shoora.

The delegation will be led by some tribal leaders of the Bajaur and Malakand agencies, the spokesman revealed, however, he did not disclose their names.

He said that some elements were trying to create rifts in the ranks of the movement by spreading propaganda that TNSM leadership was not taking interest in the volunteers’ release.
