LARKANA, Dec 14: Tension prevails in Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) following the clash between two additional medical superintendents, Dr Zulfikar Siyal and Dr Mushtaque Haideri few days ago.

“We are trying to hammer out a solution and are in constant touch with both the parties’ said Dr Hussain Bakhsh Memon, medical superintendent of CMCH while talking to Dawn on Friday.

He said that the Sindh secretary health had asked him to reconcile between both the doctors.

Sources said that Dr Mushtaque Haideri was performing his duty under heavy guards while Dr Siyal was not attending duty.

It was learnt that Dr Haideri had applied for two months leave but the MS denied of having received such application.

WORKERS: The sacked workers of Shahdadkot Textile Mills on Friday protesting over the closure of the mill staged a protest rally in Shahdadkot.

Led by labour leader Mr Manzoor Khoso, they marched on the main roads of the city and assembled outside local press club.

They demanded of the government to reopen the mill and pay their 17 months salaries immediately.
