KARACHI, Dec 12: Nine vehicles — four cars and five motorcycles — were either stolen or hijacked in the city on Wednesday, the police said.

The cars were hijacked in Darakhshan, Saddar, Federal B. Area, and Nazimabad.

The motorcycles were stolen in Risala, Arambagh, New Town, Gulistan-i- Jauhar, and Korangi.

ROBBERIES: Two robberies were committed in the city on Wednesday, the police said.

Armed men barged into the house of Azmat in Liaquatabad, held the occupants of the house as hostage at gunpoint and got away with cash and valuables.

Bandits entered the house of Mujahid in Al-Falah, Malir, held the family as hostage at gunpoint and looted valuables.

WOUNDED: Bandits shot and wounded two milkmen in Peerabad on Wednesday.

Bandits barged into a milk shop. The milkmen put up resistance to the bandits when they began robbing them. During the scuffle, the bandits became jittery, opened fire and fled. The milkmen, Jaffer and Saeed, were wounded.
