KARACHI, Dec 12: The supreme Court allowed on Wednesday leave to appeal against the acquittal of the two accused in a murder case in which wife of the deceased was one of them.

The Karachi Registry bench of the Supreme Court comprised Justice Nazim Husain Siddiqui, Justice Rana Bhagwandas and Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar.

The appellant, Malik Mohammed Salim, was represented by Khwaja Naveed, advocate.

The petitioner, brother of the deceased, had maintained that when he reached the apartment of his brother after hearing the news that his sister-in-law had been murdered, he found Rubina, wife of Malik Mohammed Ashiqeen, present on the spot.
