KARACHI: Ten vehicles hijacked

KARACHI, Nov 29: Ten vehicles — five cars and an equal number of motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Thursday, the police said.

The cars were hijacked in Arambagh, Mubina Town, Bahadurabad, Taimooria, and Gulshan-i-Iqbal.

The motorcycles were stolen in Mehmoodabad, Kharadar, Ferozabad, Sir Syed Town, and Ajmair Nagri.

The police also claimed on Thursday to have recovered seven vehicles in the city.

RECOVERED: The Anti-car Lifting Cell (ACLC) Sharifabad has recovered 20 motorcycles in raids conducted in different parts of the country.

According to a statment issued by the ACLC Sharifabad, the motorcycles bear these numbers HDG-7570, KCA-2339, KAA-5347, KCD-5446, KCK-2973, KCV-9462, KCO-4338, QAE-9998, KCT-3670, LOC-2533, MNG-9296, KCU-557, KCC-7620, TR-8468, LHU-5187, KAK-7002, KCK-7227, KCT-6785, and KCC-7620.
